As 2023 was my first second karting season, I had to overcome many challenges, however, I had the help of my amazing coach, former Indycar and current NASCAR Pinty Series driver, Alex Tagliani as well the rest of the CRG Tag Motorsport Team throughout the season. I have massively progressed and improved and I am so happy with the progression and results that I have achieved last year. I now have a much better understanding on how to set up a kart, how to take the correct driving lines, and how to improve the kart in any way possible. Karting is also a very physical and demanding sport. This is another reason why I am excited for the 2024 season. In 2023, i experienced lots of difficulty with the physical part of racing. For a few weekends in my 2023 season, I was driving to karts at once! This made me very exhausted and caused my performance in the kart to decrease. Therefore, I have trained a lot this winter to get into better shape physically and ne prepared for my new season. As well as training physically, I have trained my race craft and my driving skills in the kart in general. I have put a large amount of hours practicing and learning my kart and setups on my simulator. I feel that this has helped me develop much more as a driver and I can’t wait to apply what I have learned on the track.
