Let me introduce myself

Hello fellow Motorsport fans, I’m Jesse Lambert and I LOVE racing. I’ve loved racing ever since birth, however, my parents always believed racing to be too dangerous. I eventually managed to convince them and I started karting in the summer of 2022. I have always been a very competitive individual. I won’t quit until I win, even in something as simple as a ping pong game with my dad. My dream is to one day race in Formula One. We have high expectations for the 2023 season. We hope to win the Canadian karting championship this year so that we can go to the world karting championship. We also aspire to win several other championships. For instance I will participate in the Ron Fellows Karting Championship in Ontario, the Coupe de Montreal and I will be racing in the very famous Florida Winter Tour.

As 2022 was my first ever karting season, we had to overcome many challenges, however, I had the help of my amazing coach, goner Indycar and current NASCAR driver, Alex Tagliani and the rest of the CRG Tag Motorsport Team throughout the season, I have massively progressed and improved. I now understand how to set up a kart, I now understand all the proper driving lines, and I understand how to improve the kart in any way possible. I believe learning the racing line is very important, however, I feel that the setup of any kart or car is crucial to win. Anyone can know the racing line but you must know how to set up your kart. Racing is a question of milliseconds and therefore, without the proper setup, you will not be able to exit or enter a corner with as much speed. Karting is a very physical and demanding sport, I train to be physically and mentally prepared. I practice exercises specially focused for racing which train not only your physicality but your reflexes as well. I have also been boxing and skiing for many years now as a form of training.

This year I will be racing in the Junior Karting category!

However, I will be practicing in a senior kart which is notably faster, therefore, when I race in my junior kart, I will have more time to think and act due to the reduced speed. I will also be practicing in a DD2 kart, unlike the senior and junior karts which have one gear, the DD2 has two gears. The DD2 kart is the fastest of the three which will help me practice for in the future when I join other kart categories and this increased speed will once again help me think and act better in my junior kart.

See you soon on track with the checkered flag!

Special thanks to my sponsors!
